Av. Celil Aktas, LL.M.

Av. Celil Aktaş graduated from FMV Erenköy Işık High School in 2014 and then settled in Okan University Faculty of Law, where he graduated in 2019, with a full scholarship. During his legal education, he was a student at Pazmany Peter University in Budapest for one year, where he took courses on international law and human rights.

After graduating, Atty. Celil Aktaş completed Bahçeşehir University Informatics Law Master’s program in 2023. He continues his doctorate on public law at Marmara University.

Av. Celil Aktaş is a member of the Executive Board of the Istanbul Bar Association Informatics Law Commission and serves as the General Secretary of the Commission. He is also a member of the Commission’s Artificial Intelligence Working Group. In addition, the Human Rights Center of the Istanbul Bar Association is a member of the Personal Data Protection Commission, the International Criminal Law Association (AIDP – IAPL) and the Turkish Informatics Association.

Av. Celil Aktaş has a book called “Disinformation Crimes Committed on the Internet” published by Seçkin Publishing and many articles written on different platforms. Dominating English, German and Russian languages, Atty. Celil Aktaş speaks Chinese at a basic level.
